About Me

My photo
Hi. I'm just a simple nobody - with a simpleton mind, simple values, simple views.. It doesn't matter if you don't view my blog. Personally, I don't really care. Hello, and good-bye.

50th post - Based on the events on Wednesday.

So yeah.

On Wednesday, I left my wallet on the 610 bus.

Some guy picked it up and returned it to me.

I can't thank that guy enough.

Seriously, it wasn't even robbed (because Annie so insisted on checking).

What else has happened? Not much really. Oh well, half-yearlies soon. Better go study.

Piano exam's on 12th June. Just wanted it make it official. And so G-worm, I won't be able to go anywhere on that day. PIANO EXAM - STRESS - HAIR LOSS.

Anyway, I suck, maybe I'll just make my leave.

I should make my 50th blog post special, yeah?

I'll just embed a song. A new one.

BACK IN BLACK!

Since I can't be stuffed to ask you all to criticise it individually..

And I KNOW that I said I wouldn't blog anymore; and I'm doing this against my own will, but anyway -- I'm slightly more on the lazy side, as you can see.

What I was doing was I was going to write a short story for my English assignment. The thing is, I don't know if it will be good enough.

So I'll post it up as I go. I won't post everything that I've done up at a time; I'll do it in small sections and so on.

Enjoy!

Note: Also, give me a name and a title.

'Mum, you know how Dad's abusive! He's like the Hulk, armed with his crack and glass of beer! PLEASE, LEAVE HIM.. Please.'
'I chose to marry your father for a reason, ungrateful brat.'
'I'll give you an ultimatum then, Mum. It's either he goes, or I leave home.'
'Well, guess what? I'd choose your drunk father over you anyday, you stupid child.'
I don't even bother to pack my bags. I slam my door in her face, and take one last gulp from the cup of water I was clutching, and drop the cup. It breaks into jagged shards; and looking back at it now, I realise that it was like a symbol. A symbol that my time with them was over. I run out of the house, never looking back.
So I’m running. Running away from all of my problems; running from everything I ever held dear. Starting my life anew.
I’ve got nothing, I left everything back at that wretched place where I used to live. And I'm never coming back.
I’m out of breath; right now, I’m sitting on a park bench, panting heavily; my heartbeat pounding..

If you don't like it, just say so.

Hmm.

I never realised that songs could make you cry.

Well, anyway, The Rain Song by Led Zeppelin made me cry.

I love old songs. If they're of the rock or early 90's grunge genre.

Probably makes me have bad taste in today's era.

Today's music makes me cringe sometimes. It's so new sounding.

Maybe because I live in the past.

I hate 2010.

I'm pretty sure this decade is going to suck.

It hasn't even been half a year yet and it sucks.

I'm bored.

Okay, so I'll tell you what I must do ensure in a song before I like it.

I'll have examples for each point -- For the ones that are negative, there are examples for them too; just that those songs are the types of songs that I dislike.

- Good, understandable, meaningful, decodeable lyrics.
i.e. Nirvana - Drain You. It shows that somehow, Kurt Cobain was going through a tough time. (Most likely based on his drug abuse.)

- A nice tune to it.
i.e. Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven.

- If it isn't too boppy, but still has somewhat of a strong beat to it.
i.e. Three Days Grace - Just Like You

- If the music is able to project an image into my mind.
i.e. Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song

- If it doesn't sound too new or tacky.
i.e. Ke$ha - Tik Tok

- If it isn't too lovey dovey.
i.e. Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On

There are exceptions to these though. But they only apply to classical music.
