About Me

My photo
Hi. I'm just a simple nobody - with a simpleton mind, simple values, simple views.. It doesn't matter if you don't view my blog. Personally, I don't really care. Hello, and good-bye.

Reminder to self. You don't have to read this.

Polly lyrics.

Polly wants a cracker,
I think I should get off her first.
I think she wants some water
To put out the blowtorch.

It isn't me,
Have a seed.
Let me clip
Your dirty wings.
Let me take a ride,
Cut yourself.
Want some help,
To please myself.
Got some rope
You have been told
I promise you
I have been true
Let me take a ride,
Hurt yourself.
Want some help,
Help myself.

Polly wants a cracker,
Maybe she would like more food.
Ask me to untie her
A chase would be nice for a few.

Isn't me,
Have a seed.
Let me clip
Your dirty wings.
Let me take a ride,
Cut yourself.
Want some help,
To please myself.
Got some rope
Have been told
I promise you
I have been true
Let me take a ride,
Cut yourself.
Want some help,
Please myself.

Polly said.

Polly says her back hurts,
She's just as bored as me.
She caught me off my guard
It amazes me, the will of instinct..

Isn't me,
Have a seed.
Let me clip
Your dirty wings.
Let me take a ride,
Cut yourself.
Want some help,
Please myself.
Got some rope
Have been told
I promise you
I have been true
Let me take a ride,
Cut yourself.
Want some help,
Please myself.

Those are lyrics to a song I've been trying to memorise for a while. It's Polly, by Nirvana. It's based on a true story about a rape victim who was fourteen at the time who got abducted in 1987 while returning from a punk rock show - she was tortured with razors and a blowtorch.

There's a couple of alternate lyrics T__T This one's from the Nevermind CD.

Kurt did put somewhat of a narrative flourish into the song though - Polly manages to escape by flirting with her captor convincing him to trust her. This allows her to escape.

I need to put on tabs just so then I remember them later on.
